Although I am currently residing in argentina , I lived most of my adult live on Long Island.Im hoping the reader might help me solve a longtime mistery . My folks , purchased , at a local garage sale a set of glass beer mugs embossed with the name of your fire company and with a date of september 1969. Im fuzzy on the specific date in september of 1969 but it could have been either the 6th or the 11th. Can anyone clarify the significance of that particular date and qhy it was commemorated on the beer mugs ?sedona1963@gmail.comThanks !

I love to see you guys doing great work. I am thankful to have been a apart of this great organization. Although it was just for a short time, I will have a lifetime of great memories. Train hard and always look to what will make KPVFC even greater. Take care and be safe!
I am old enough to remember those "pioneer" days when the fire department was organized and the picnics at Walker Field. Ah yes, they were the good old days for sure. It was so nice reading all those names that were instrumental in the establishment of the fire deaprtment. My Dad, Sal Mazzerle, would have been so proud of how this idea of having a fire department in King of Prussia succeeded. Many thanks for all those responsible for such a happy and successful story!Bob "Mazz" Mazzerle
