The fire fighters from station 47 (aka KPVFC) and Quint 31 (Bridgeport #1) were alerted for a building fire at 200 Prince Frederick Street in the Candlebrook section of town. Initial 9-1-1 calls reported a garage on fire on the property of the Court at Henderson 2 Condos. Assistant Chief 47-4 (Thomas) was first on location and reported a trash dumpster on fire that is housed inside an out-building. The fire was quickly controlled & crews verified that no occupancy or actual garage were threatened. Crews from Engine 47-1, Tower 47 & Quint 31 were back in service under 25 minutes.
