Early Saturday morning, KPFC volunteers Larry Durland, Rob Griffith Jr., and Anthony Molchany, along with Lafayette Ambulance's Dwight Devera, headed down to Center City Philadelphia for the American Lung Association's (ALA) annual Fight for Air Climb. The ALA is the leading organization working to save the lives of thousands of American's suffering from various lung related diseases such as Asthma, Lung Cancer, Emphysema, and COPD. Our volunteers were 4 of 656 total climbers who helped raise money to support research, education and awareness in hopes to improve lung health and to prevent lung disease. This year's team ascended the 50 flights in full turn-out gear in about 15 minutes, and are already looking forward to next year's event!
