Saturday, April 14, 2012 Keeping true to the brotherhood of the fire service volunteers from the King of Prussia Fire Company attended the funeral for one of the Philadelphia fire fighters killed in the line of duty on Monday, April 9th. Assistant Chief Matt Gallagher, Senior Fire Fighter Larry Durland and Fire Fighter Rob Griffith attended the services for Fire Fighter Daniel Sweeney from Ladder Company 10 of the Philadelphia Fire Department. They traveled to the Fox Chase section of the city for services and the viewing while Fire Fighters Darryl Bacchi and Tyler Sandlin traveled to the cemetery to salute their fellow brother as the procession entered the gate. The members were in attendance along with fire fighters from Philadelphia, Montgomery County, Delaware County and as far away as Canada. Rest in Peace Fire Fighter Sweeney and Lieutenant Neary.
