Rescue Units Participate in Field Training

Thursday, June 7, 2012 Members of the Southeast Montgomery County Technical Rescue Task Force (SEMCTRTF) were back in the field Thursday night conducting hands-on technical rescue evolutions.  The members spent the night operating high-pressure air bags, forming anchor systems with steel pickets, rigging mechanical advantage systems, and packaging simulated patients in stokes baskets.  The SEMCTRTF responds together to highly specialized rescue incidents and consists of Rescue 47 (KPVFC), Rescue 27 (Fairmount of Norristown FD), and Rescue 21 (Penn Wynne Fire Co.).  All three units of the task force participated on Thursday night.
