Tuesday, August 7, 2012 King of Prussia fire fighters assisted the Swedeland Fire Company on a trailer fire they were battling inside Jamison’s Junkyard on Flint Hill Road. Just before midnight the KPVFC was requested for two engines by the incident commander. Engine 47-1 (from the Allendale Road station) and Squad 47 (from the Beidler Road station) responded with a total of 11 volunteers including two of the recent graduates from the basic fire fighting program that we just reported on. Members assisted with overhaul and exposing hotspots in separate areas of the trailer while operating two hoselines. Station 47 was released by Chief 48 (C. Camarda) around 3:00 AM.
