The King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company and the Upper Merion Township Fire Marshal’s office has been very busy the past couple weeks for fire prevention. Although only officially marked on the calendar for one week, fire prevention spreads throughout the month of October. The volunteer firefighters, while working with Deputy Fire Marshal Bill Daywalt and Fire Inspector Bill Henderson, were busy delivering fire prevention programs throughout the school and daycares in the community. Here is a list of all the events the KPVFC attended or participated in:
October 9th: Fire Prevention program at Roberts Elementary
October 10th: Fire Prevention program at Caley Elementary
October 10th: Swedesburg Fire Company Fire Truck & Fire Prevention show at Giant
October 11th: Fire Prevention program at Candlebrook Elementary
October 11th: Fire Prevention program at Saint Theresa Regional (MDP)
October 13th: Home Depot Expo & Fire Prevention
October 13th: Radnor Fire Co. Fire Prevention presentation with KPVFC demonstrating vehicle extrication
October 15th: Fire Prevention program at Upper Merion Baptist Church preschool
October 16th: Fire Prevention program at Good Shepperd preschool (school of member’s daughter)
October 17th: Fire Prevention program at Good Shepperd preschool (school of member’s daughter)
October 20th: Berwyn Fire Co. Fire Prevention presentation with KPVFC assisting in hose target game
October 23rd: Fire Prevention program at Upper Merion Baptist Church preschool
