The King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company (KPVFC) is back to scale new heights in 2026! Following a dominant 2025 debut—where we raised over $2,500 and secured 3 out of 4 Firefighter Division awards—the Ash Kickers of Upper Merion team has doubled in size and is ready to sweep the competition. On Saturday, April 11, 2026, our team of 12 firefighters will tackle 50 flights (1,088 stairs) at Three Logan Square in Philadelphia for the American Lung Association’s "Fight For Air Climb." Each member will climb in full gear with SCBA—adding up to 70 lbs of weight—to honor those fighting for every breath. Why This MattersLung health is a critical issue for first responders. Due to occupational exposure to toxic gases and chemicals, firefighters face a significantly higher risk of chronic respiratory issues and lung cancer. We are climbing to raise $5,000 to fund life-saving research and advocacy. How You Can HelpMake a Direct Donation
