The South Eastern Montgomery County Technical Rescue Tack Force met at the King of Prussia Fire Company for its monthly drill night. Two ladders were lashed together in a cross formation, and cups of water (filled to the brim) were placed on each end. The objective was to raise the whole assembly appriximately 2 feet high without spilling any of the water. The teams were assembled and used cribbing and airbags to lift the assembly 1 inch at a time. This slow process will be the same process used during a structural collapse or special vehicle rescues in order to free the victim who is trapped underneath an object. The teams did very well and did not spill a drop of water.
