Four King of Prussia volunteer firefighters were at the Delaware State Fire School in Dover, DE this weekend attending a two-day High Rise Firefighting Seminar. The seminar is being taught by Deputy Chief James Smith (retired) of the Philadelphia Fire Department. Deputy Chief Smith responded to countless high rise fires during his career in Philadelphia, and the King of Prussia volunteers are soaking in that knowledge and experience. The volunteers will use their new knowledge to enhance existing high rise firefighting procedures and better protect the visitors and residents of King of Prussia.
